REGULAR PROGRAM: is conducted on regular basis, term by term. This includes Regular Tuition and Scholarship/SEAL Coaching Program (SCP). 

Regular classes are available at all campuses on weekends. We also offer Private Tuition on-site over the weekends, or online during weekdays.

Regular classes: available from Grade 3 to Year 12 at all campuses. We teach English, Maths, Maths Methods, Specialist Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Scholarship Coaching Program (SCP): available for current Years 5 and 6 who wish to gain Year 7 entry to SEAL Program at government schools or scholarships at private schools. 

We also offer SCP classes for current Year 8/Year 9 students who intend to take Year 9/Year 10 selective entrance exam for entry Melbourne High, Mac Robertson Girls, Nossal High, Suzanne Cory as well as John Monash Science school. Subjects to be covered in the course are Reasoning in Reading, Reasoning in Mathematics, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, Creative and Persuasive Essay Writing.

Course dates: SCP5, SCP6, SCP7 & SCP8 are available at selected campuses between 1.30 and 4.00PM. Course duration: term by term.

CLAYTON campus:
Term 1: (1/2 – 29/3) —> Term 2: (26/4 – 28/6) —> Term 3: (26/7 – 13/9) —> Term 4: (11/10 – 6/12)

FOOTSCRAY campus:
Term 1: (1/2 – 29/3) —> Term 2: (26/4 – 28/6) —> Term 3: (26/7 – 13/9) —> Term 4: (11/10 – 6/12)

SUNDAY 

ST ALBANS campus:
Term 1: (2/2 – 30/3) —> Term 2: (27/4 – 29/6) —> Term 3: (27/7 – 14/9) —> Term 4: (12/10 – 7/12)

SPECIAL COURSE:

Special courses are conducted once a year at selected campuses. The ICP course consists of seven lessons while the UCP has two full day lessons on Saturday 28/6 and Sunday 29/6.

Intensive Coaching Program (ICP) 2025

ICP is aimed in assisting students to gain entry into Melbourne High, Mac Robertson Girls’ High, Nossal High, Cory High and John Monash Science schools. ICP Selective Entrance Exam is scheduled on Saturday 5th April 2025 between 11.00AM and 2.00PM at the University of Melbourne.

Course dates:
ICP Clayton (Saturday PM):  Time: 1.30 – 4.30. Duration: 26/4 – 7/6 (7 weeks).
ICP Footscray (Saturday PM): Time: 1.30 – 4.30. Duration: 26/4 – 7/6 (7 weeks).
ICP St Albans: (Sunday PM): Time: 1.30 – 4.30pm. Duration: 27/4 – 8/6 (7 weeks).

UCAT Coaching Program (UCP) 2025

UCP is designed for entry Medicine, Dentistry, etc. The UCP entrance exam is scheduled on Saturday 5 April 2025 at the University of Melbourne between 1pm and 4pm

Course dates:
Available on Saturday 28/6 and Sunday 29/6 between 10.00pm and 4.00pm.

 St Vincent Institute of Education cung cấp các dịch vụ về giáo dục từ bậc Tiểu học đến Trung học. Các dịch vụ này bao gồm:

Ngày thi tuyển vào lớp 9 trường ở Melbourne High, Mac Robertson Girls, Nossal High (ở Berwick) và Suzanne Cory High (ở Werribee) năm nay chưa công bố. Dựa trên ngày thi tuyển năm trước, chúng tôi dự đoán ngày thi tuyển năm nay sẽ rơi vào ngày thứ Bảy 14 tháng 6 năm 2025. Hiện tại có bốn trường Tuyển thu nhận học sinh từ lớp 8 vào lớp 9 qua một kỳ thi tuyển được tổ chức thi cùng ngày và cùng một đề thi. Thí sinh chỉ cần đóng lệ phí thi một lần và được quyền chọn 3 trong 4 trường theo thứ tự ưa thích. Học sinh đang học lớp 8 năm nay, đồng thời có tư cách thường trú nhân hoặc có quốc tịch Úc thì mới hội đủ điều kiện để thi tuyển vào lớp 9 năm 2025. Học sinh ở các lớp cao hơn cũng có thể xin ghi danh thi tuyển theo cấp lớp tương đương, tuy nhiên, số ghế rất giới hạn và ngày thi khác nhau.

Trung tâm sẽ tổ chức thi thử trình độ cho học sinh nào muốn tham gia Chương trình Luyện thi Bảo đảm (ICP). Mục đích của kỳ thi là để phân loại trình độ học sinh và xếp lớp theo năng lực, giúp học sinh làm quen với thi cử trong một môi trường thi rộng lớn trang nghiêm . Ngoài việc thi tuyển vào hai trường Công nói trên, thí sinh cũng có thể đăng ký thi Học bổng (scholarship) vào trường Tư. Xin lưu ý là các trường Tư theo hệ thống ACER sẽ thi ngày 22 tháng 2 năm 2025. Xin bấm vào đây để biết đích xác ngày thi Học bổng của các trường theo hệ ACER. Ngoài thi học bổng, con em qúy vị cũng có thể đăng ký thi Chương trình Học Nhanh (Accelerated Learning Program) vào lớp 7 trong năm 2026.

Ngoài các khóa luyện thi đặc biệt liên quan đến UMAT, thi Tuyển và thi Học bổng, Trung tâm còn có chương trình định kỳ dạy vào các ngày cuối tuần theo từng cá nguyệt (mỗi term). Chương trình dạy định kỳ gồm có các lớp học Căn bản (Regular) và Tuyển chọn (Selective). Lớp Căn bản dạy theo giáo trình của Bộ giáo dục (syllabus), còn Lớp Tuyển thì có thêm các tài liệu về luyện thi. Các môn học chính gồm có Anh văn (English), Toán (Maths), Vật lý (Physics), Hóa học (Chemistry), Sinh học (Biology), Phương pháp Toán học (Maths Methods) và Toán Chuyên (Specialist Maths). Ngoài ra còn có thêm các môn về Kiến thức Tổng quát (General Ability), Luận văn (Written Expression) và Khoa học (Science) được dạy trong chương trình Tuyển.

Nhằm đáp ứng nhu cầu và tạo điều kiện thuận lợi cho phụ huynh, Trung tâm đã có mặt ở các khu vực có nhiều đồng hương cư ngụ. Đầu tiên ở Flemington rồi đến St Albans, Clayton và Footscray. Thank you for visiting St Vincent Institute of Education’s website. I hope you will gain an insight into the depth and quality of the strong education programs that we offer. St Vincent Institute of Education (VIE) is an institution for general education. We provide educational services and cater for students from primary to secondary levels. These services include UCAT Coaching Program (UCP) for entry to medical courses (such as Medicine and Dentistry), Intensive Coaching Program (ICP) to prepare Year 8 and Year 9 students for entry to selective schools (Melbourne High, Mac Robertson Girls’ High, Nossal High and Suzanne Cory High school), and Scholarship Coaching Program (SCP) to prepare all year levels to gain scholarships at prestigious schools in Victoria.

Year 9 Selective Entrance Examination date for 2026 entry is not yet been set. It would fall on Saturday 14th June 2025 (to be confirmed). Only Australian citizens and residents who are currently in their second year of high school are eligible to take this entrance exam. Students at higher year levels can also sit for selective entrance exams, however, places are limited.

The selective entrance exam is comprised of Reasoning in Reading, Reasoning in Mathematic, Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Persuasive and Creative Written Expressions.

In assisting students to gain places at the selective schools, we offer an Intensive Coaching Program (ICP) which is scheduled once a year from the beginning of Term 2. There are two major testing agents who developed test papers for independent schools and selective schools: Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) and the Edu Test.

ACER sets different types of scholarship tests for schools: Cooperative Program Tests (CPT) and Alternative Date Tests (ADT). The CPT exam is set on the same day. In Victoria, the CPT is set on Saturday 22nd February 2025. The ADT exam date is set by each participating school, it varies February to June or later. Edu Test focuses more on Academic Abilities that many schools prefer to test students’ intellectual ability. The EduTest have orgainsed scholarship exams for private schools and selective exam for entry into an accelerated learning program (ALP) or SEAL at government. This agent had been conducting Year 9 Selective Entrance Exam in the past 15 years (from 2008 to 2022). Since 2023, the Year 9 entrance exam has been conducted by ACER who would also be the one to host the exam this year.  Click here to find out the schools which use the Edu Test’s services.

Apart from our special programs (ICP, UCP and SCP), we also provide a Regular Program (RP) which is regularly conducted on weekends except school holidays. This is aimed to help students to maximise their full potential. Regular classes are available for students from Grade 3 to VCE 12 with special emphasis on the VCE subjects English, English Language, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths Methods and Specialist Maths.
